BBSQ celebrated 51 years of Bahamian Independence with a delightful staff social, featuring a traditional Bahamian breakfast of fire engine, tuna and grits, Johnny cake, and potato bread. Throughout the day, the team enjoyed a variety of local treats, including conch fritters fried by Executive Director Dr. Bufford, chicken in da bag, crawfish salad, cup, salty, guava duff, switcha, punch, fever grass tea, and conch salad. The festivities were enhanced by lively Bahamian music and engaging trivia. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Chairwoman Paulette V. Curry for joining in the fun and making the celebration even more special.
