What is BBSQ doing about establishments that do not practice food hygiene?

The Ministry of Health is the regulatory agency for food establishments. For its part, BBSQ has developed and declared a Bahamas National Standard that speaks to the practice of good food hygiene. The name of the Standard is BNS – Code of Practice – General Principles of Food Hygiene. It is however a voluntary standard.
